Admission policy

The Greek School of Bucharest is enrolling children of the Greek, Cypriot and Romanian communities, but also welcomes other nationalities. Children transferring from other schools in Greece, Romania or abroad, will be able to register on the basis of a special transfer form issued by the last school they attended.

Documents required for enrollment include:

1. Child's birth certificate
2. Official health record and medical form
3. Dentist record / form
4. Copy of child's passport / ID card
5. Copy of one of the parents' passport / ID card
6. School registration form (filled in and signed for each child)
7. Previous school record for the child (if applicable)
8. Financial donation agreement

The annual financial requirements are strictly related to the school expenses and will be established each school year. For more information regarding the financial donation, parents may contact Maria Mastoraki, Executive Assistant, at +4021.326.0633 or office-gpa@greekschool.ro.

Scholarships

For the new academic year 2010-'11, the Greek School of Bucharest will award three scholarships, based on a selection process concluded by a special evaluation commission comprising a representative of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, a representative of the Hellenic Embassy in Romania and the President of the Greek Parents Association.Please download the scholarship application form for the school year 2010-2011 here

Please download the registration form for the school year 2010-2011 here. Parents are required to fill out one form per child, and send it via fax to +4021.326.0634 or e-mail to office-gpa@greekschool.ro. School representatives will contact parents for more details after they have received the registration form.
